Tiny's Demolition and Recycling completed the full structural demolition of a building spanning more than 157,000 square feet in Nashville, along with an extensive scope of associated sitework. Beyond the structure itself, the project called for the removal of nearly 78,500 cubic feet of concrete slab and close to 94,000 cubic feet of asphalt paving across the site, a scale of work that required careful sequencing to keep production moving efficiently from start to finish.
Sitework extended well past the building footprint. Crews removed light pole structures, a generator and transformer along with their concrete pads, exterior concrete pads and steps, and all concrete curbs across the property, in addition to decommissioning existing electrical systems. The demolition itself was carried out mechanically using several large excavators, with water atomization maintained throughout to control dust and keep the site compliant with environmental standards.
All building debris was hauled and legally disposed of, including manifested disposal of regulated electrical components such as transformers, a detail that reflects the level of care Tiny's brings to handling materials that carry additional regulatory requirements. The team also worked through a winter storm during the course of the project, adjusting operations as needed without losing momentum.
Despite the added weather challenge, the project was completed safely, on schedule, and within budget, demonstrating Tiny's ability to manage large-footprint demolitions and complex sitework scopes under real-world conditions.
